Kalamazoo Machine Tool Model KTech
450 A-M is a fully automatic mitering bandsawing machine. You can see
that our machine is a true shuttle-vise machine; mitering is done
automatically, and the machine is fully programmable to automatically
cut miters from 60 degrees left to 60 degrees right and any length
desired. Two saw vises on the infeed side ensure the material is clamped
and never released during all feeding and sawing operations.
Barfeeder travels on ball screw
for maximum accuracy. Cutoff side features hydraulic stop assembly to
keep material in line while the automatic mitering sequence is taking
place.
The fully hydraulic, with
free-standing operators console may be conveniently placed in the most
advantageous operator location.
Operation is straightforward. You
program the length and the angle to be cut on both ends and the number
of pieces. The machine optimizes the sequence of cutting and number of
pieces from each bar of material.
